* = Johnny Blade was stripped of the championship, after HIW owner Bruce Wimberly decided that the title was a curse, and that he would name himself the new champion then retire it but he would replace it someday with an all new division sometime in 2006.

** = Mike Reeves was released by HIW, causing the title to be decided in a three way ladder match between Bret Anthony, Justin 2 Fine and Johnny Blade who won the title.

*** = Mc Clain was released by HIW leaving the title vacated. The match was decided in a bull rope match between JP Black and Chris Source who won the match.

**** = Mc Clain won a single elimination tournament to win the title by beating Chris Source in the finals, after Bid D retired.

***** = Thunder was the final TNW Southern champion after beating former tag team partner The Mean Street Thug after Tom Cat was released by TNW. Thunder was still champion during the buy out and automatically became the first HIW U.S. champion.

****** = Chip Riggs retired leaving the Southern title vacant, Phoenix then known as Hotshot Scott Patric won four way between Himself, Big John Murder, Mark Van Guard, and Wild Wes Cody to win the title.

******* = Chip Riggs was the first TNW title holder all together by winning the TNW Southern title against Joey Corman at a TWA Texas Wrestling Association show one month before TNW opened.
